  • Looks like there'll be a lot of local variation, with most places getting maybe a quarter-inch, and some places getting more. Also looks like the probabilities have been bumped up.

    BTW, if you like wading through real jargon, try reading the NWS local forecast "discussion." I feel like I get a better picture of what's going on by reading it.

  • It rained really hard here for about 10 minutes, but did not leave enough rain to fill my driveway puddle spot. Maybe tomorrow!

  • We just moved back into durham after being in exile in carrboro for 6 months. I hooked the rain barrel up tonight and made sure things are as secure as they can be. If it rains a quarter of an inch or so I should be able to get the barrel about half-full. I wish I had time to buy 4 more for the other big corners.

    oh well, 40gallons of water to drizzle on my lettuce seedlings will be good enough for a while. :)
