Two inches of rain over the next couple of days should let the City push back Stage V restrictions for quite a while.
And if that weekend storm materializes, that should be enough water to get us through June with no additional restrictions. Maybe i'll be able to grow some tomatoes this year after all.

Good luck up there.
Down here in Merida I've been thinking of you every time it rains, which has been three out of the last five evenings (including two monster nights that left deep puddles around town through mid-day today).
2 inches would make that big a difference? Wow. Amazing what a seemingly "small" thing can do.
Lord knows I wouldn't want to be a farmer.

As of yesterday, the city of Durham said that our water supply stood at 149 days of "premium, easily accessible" water. My estimate is that if we get a full two inches of rain over the next 24 hours, that number will rise to at least 170 days.
