Just curious

Not that i'm complaining or anything, but i think it's curious that gas is 20 cents a gallon cheaper in the Outer Banks than it is in the Triangle.

  • That's my recollection as well. Especially with so many people coming from up north to the OBX, and, in theory, it being that much more expensive to get gas to the islands. I paid $3.49 at a Hess station, and i saw gas at the Kangaroo for $3.45. In fact, it dropped about 5 or 6 cents just in the 3 days we were there.
